Bev/Art is seeking an experienced conservator to serve as team leader for one of two teams responsible for packing and relocating a museum collection to a new temporary storage facility in Karasjok, Northern Norway. This work is based on a relocation plan developed by Bev/Art for RiddoDuottarMuseat in 2024.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position ideally suited for a professional with prior experience in the relocation of cultural heritage collections.

Period of Employment
The position runs from Monday 19 May to Friday 12 December 2025, with a paid two-week summer break from 28 July to 10 August.
Working hours are full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday).

Responsibilities
• Lead a two-person team in the packing and safe relocation of museum objects
• Ensure that all handling, documentation, and transport follow current professional standards and best practices
• Liaise with project managers and museum staff throughout the move
• Assist in risk assessments and contribute to a smooth and efficient relocation process

Required Qualifications and Experience
• Documented experience with the handling, packing, and transport of artworks and/or sensitive cultural heritage objects

Desirable Qualifications
• Experience working with the Primus Collection Management System

Salary and Benefits
• Expected range: 562,000 – 650,000 NOK / £40,820 – £47,195 GBP / EUR 48,141 – 55,680, depending on experience
