Bev/Art, a leading technology provider for art and heritage climate monitoring, today announced the launch of a powerful new generative AI feature within its flagship software platform, Custodian. Seamlessly embedded into existing workflows, this enhancement enables automated report summaries and intelligently flags areas for improvement and potential risk, empowering institutions to act quickly and confidently on critical environmental data.
“Our product philosophy is grounded in purpose-driven innovation,” said Martin Barthel, Bev/Art Chief Technology Officer. “We only introduce hardware and software that is intuitive and unobtrusive, ensuring our tools support art and heritage institutions without introducing unnecessary complexity. Our goal is to deliver meaningful value.”
Custodian receives real-time climate data from Bev/Art’s wireless sensors, and the newly integrated AI automatically analyzes that data when a report is generated. Each report now includes a clear, concise summary alongside highlighted anomalies and risk indicators that allows users to assess hundreds or even thousands of data points in seconds.
“Some of our customers were already exporting data to external large language models like ChatGPT,” said Håvard Lystrup, Bev/Art CEO. “With this built-in AI capability, we’re eliminating that extra step and saving institutions hours of manual report review.”
This AI feature adds to Bev/Art’s suite of customer-focused benefits, including quick setup, IT-approved simplicity, real-time alerts, and continuous data collection. It is available immediately to all Custodian users at no additional cost.
